SAFETY AND COMPLIANCE

Ogden Polar Group prioritizes safety and strictly adheres to NFPA 59A standards for the design, installation, and operation of LNG facilities and equipment.

Our systems and procedures are built to ensure safe handling, storage, and transportation of natural gas, protecting both people and the environment.

Through rigorous compliance and training, we help customers meet regulatory requirements while maintaining the highest level of operational integrity.

WHAT IS LNG ?

Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) is natural gas (predominantly methane 95%+, CH4, with a small mixture of ethane C2H6) that has been converted to a liquid cryogenic form by cooling it to -260°F for efficient storage or transportation. As a liquid, Natural Gas now takes up about 1/600th of the volume of its ambient gaseous state. LNG is odorless, colorless, non-toxic, and non-corrosive.

LNG, A CLEAN, SAFE, AND CHEAPER ALTERNATIVE

LEAN: Natural Gas reduces CO2 emissions by up to 30%, NOx (nitrous oxide) by 80% and SOx (Sulfur oxide) by 95%!

SAFE: In this cryogenic (cold liquid) state, LNG is one of the safest energy forms to transport, store,  and use as a primary source of fuel.

CHEAPER: Being abundant in the United States, offering affordable, stable, and predictable prices.
